Purple orchidPhalaenopsis Orchid Plant

Temperature: can flourish in temperatures between 65° and 90°
Light: moderate light is best, no direct sun
Water: keep evenly moist, avoid wet foliage

Re-potting: remove your orchid from its pot and cut away as much of the old media from the roots as possible. Cut off the dead roots with sterile shears before placing your orchid in its new pot. The new pot should measure in diameter about 1/3 to 1/2 the total leaf span of the plant. When placing the plant in the pot, the leaves should sit about a 1/2 inch below the rim. Add potting media around the roots, but do not cover the leaves.
